Aunt Agnes is Sophie and Josh Newman's Aunt, not by blood. She is a mortal humani and has no awakened powers. She is described as someone who worries a lot; it is also mentioned that she is quite bony with "knobby" knees and swollen arthritic fingers, which tells us that she is quite an elderly woman. She was mentioned in the very first book and is introduced in the fourth book, "The Necromancer". In "The Warlock", she turns out to be Tsagaglalal, or "She Who Watches".
