The Clarke-class diplomatic clipper was a type of starship on active duty in Starfleet during the late 23rd century. (Starfleet Dynamics) In appearance, Clarke-class ships looked like two primary hulls from Garneau-class vessels slightly separated by the warp pylons. Ships of this class and Kennedy-class diplomatic cruisers may exist in different continuities, as they perform much of the same functions, both in peacetime and war. However, they are based on different spaceframes — the Kennedy class on Suryas and the Clarkes on Garneau-class ships.
