The Articles of Religion are an official doctrinal statement of American Methodism. Adapted by John Wesley from the Anglican Articles, they are found in paragraph 103 of The United Methodist Book of Discipline and have remained relatively unchanged since 1808 (except for a few additional articles added in later years).
