Along with tracking targets by chakra as in normal means, the technique also allows for Tatsuki to sense opponents by sensing their heartbeat. By tracking the heartbeat in comparison to chakra, Tatsuki is able to locate opponents who have intentionally decreased their chakra, as well as those hiding using presence erasing techniques, such as the Hiding with Camouflage Technique. The technique also greatly amplifies Tatsuki's sense of smell, allowing her to trail her victims by picking up on their signature scent. This is done by concentrating a specific amount of chakra through the nose.
