North America ends up resembling Europe with several states squabbling/fighting with one another for supremacy. * Texas secedes from the Confederacy soon after the South wins the Civil War, while at the same time the West leaves the Union. This is usually a variant on the Balkanized North America AH meme. * Robert E. Lee becomes President of the Confederate States.
