The New Tyne Air Militia was the aerial component of the Insurrectionist militia of New Tyne, founded by former Venezian UNSC Army D77-TC Pelican pilot turned Insurrectionist Kevin Frantwik in 2545. Although the Air Militia was only at first composed of Frantwik's Pelican, and seven armed civilian aircraft whose owners Frantwik had recruited into the organization. However, with the aid Peter Moritz and Staffan Sentzke, the Air Militia managed to acquire more combat grade aircraft, including seven F/A-440s, and three B-65 Shortsword bombers by 2552.
