Thoxa is a Xenkan Monk. Unlike the other Monks, she believes that action has to be taken to prevent the disaster that could end all life. This of course brings her into trouble with Karnax, who believes that this is the wrong way. The Avatar when trying to cross Gorlab Swamp found Thoxa dreaming in a representation of the Temple of Emotion, telling the Avatar that it is important to look through the Moon's Eye, an ancient articat in the real temple, before waking up. She resurrected the hero's companions, if needed, being called when the hourglass was used.
