The Dusty 8 Sponsored Event is a racing event featured in RAGE. It takes place at the Wellspring Speedway in Wellspring. Nicholas Raine must become sponsored by J.K. Stiles during the in order to compete in this event. This event must be completed in order to win the Cuprino. The event is unique in that it is the only opportunity in the entire game for the player to try out the Mutant Bash TV vehicle quick-use item, which may be used to send a shock wave down the racetrack which completely destroys an enemy vehicle in its path.
