The 2015 Ford Mustang GT Premium is the sixth generation of the Mustang pony car by Ford. It was launched in 2015 and is in production. Changes from the 2014 version include widened body by 1.5 inches, 1.4 inches lower body, trapezoidal grille, and a 2.75-inch lower decklid, as well as new colors. The 2015 Mustang became the first version that was factory designed as a right hand drive export model to be sold overseas through Ford new car dealerships in right hand drive markets. During this model year, left hand drive versions were expanded to new export markets. The Mustang earned a 5-star rating from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for front, side, and rollover crash protection in February 2015.
