Ashton Gate Stadium is a stadium in Ashton Gate, Bristol, England, and is the home of Bristol City F.C. and Bristol Rugby. Located in the south-west of the city, just south of the River Avon, it currently has an all-seated capacity of 16,600, due to redevelopment, which should increase to a capacity of 27,000 by the start of the 2016-17 season of English football and rugby.
