The Council of Trade was the formal governing body of the Orion Colony world of Daros IV. It was composed of Council Lords drawn from the senior members of the Five Families that dominated the world: the Althori, Kerav, Beldav, Simri, and Keros families. The Council secured exclusive trade treaties with Daros IV's richest neighbors, with the Lords acting as middle-men for all dealings.
