Charles Henry Elt (1806-21 May 1882) was a businessman and local politician in the Islington area. He was a bookseller in High Street, Islington, and a member of the Islington Vestry from its creation in 1855 until his death, and served as the parish's representative on the Metropolitan Board of Works from 1866.
