An African tribe dwelling in the African inland savannah regions was apparently hostile towards intruders on their territory. They wore white warpaint and were armed with spears and shields. In 1916, Indiana Jones and Remy Baudouin and their prisoner Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck encountered a large group of tribesmen and were nearly killed, had Margaret Trappe not arrived in her biplane and scared off the tribe.
