Volkswagen introduced the R series starting with the RSi of the New Beetle. This R32 is the second "R" to be introduced, and of course the letter stands for "Racing". The R series is a premium sports car, much like the M series of BMW. The V6 with an extremely narrow angle of only 15 degrees hits an exhilarating exhaust note at high rpms. You can enjoy the sound and engine feel thoroughly with the 6-speed MT, or rely on its abundant torque for a lazy cruise. If you want to get serious however, it does 0 to 62 mph in just 6.6 seconds.
