Darth Krell was a fellow Sith Lord and distant cousin of Darth Lucid. The two were unique among the Sith in that they did not come to conflict to become the one Master. Both shared a belief that to rule the galaxy, they must work as a team. This was made easier by their relation. Krell was the primary military strategist leading the Dark Order of the Empire fleet, while Lucid acted as figurehead to their Empire. Krell typically led his forces from either the Star Destroyer Avenger, or with Lucid aboard the Super Star Destroyer Executor.
