In the 62nd year of the Pendulum Wars, Camp De La Croix was home to the 26th Royal Tyran infantry, with Major Baxter in command of the camp. When word arrived of a UIR incursion coming from the Republic of Lauczi, Captain Victor Hoffman led a commando squad from the camp across the neutral Maranday border to destroy a radar station in Lauczi in order to allow Baxter to launch his air forces from the camp undetected. They succeeded, and Baxter mobilized the Gears at the camp for battle.
