Gene Marmor is a former NASCAR driver from Northlake, IL. He competed in four Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. All of those races came in 1960, when Marmor debuted at Daytona, competing in the points-paying Daytona 500 qualifier event. Starting 30th in the field of forty, Marmor fell just one lap down and drove to a career-high 8th. That allowed him to make the Daytona 500, where Marmor finished 29th. Marmor also ran decently at Martinsville, finishing 11th, before ending his career with a 49th at Charlotte.
