Don Bookner is an employee at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. He is a safety inspector in sector 7G. He retired after 20 years and gave Mr.Burns a gold watch. Don had covered Homer's mistakes for years. Later, Carl tells Lenny "Thank God they pulled that safety inspector outta retirement " due to Homer thinking he was 10 years old.
