Mortar Minions were upgraded Scout Minions, equipped with a mortar launcher on one hand instead of the normal laser guns on both hands. They are first encountered in Deadgrove, protecting the railways leading to the N.E.S.T. markers appeared where a mortar would hit, giving the heroes (Ratchet, Clank, Nefarious, and Qwark) time to dodge.
