Sir David Martin Scott Steel, KT, KBE, PC, is a British and Scottish politician. From 1995 until 2006 he served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. With a term in office of more than eleven years, he is the longest-serving Prime Minister of Britain in the 20th Century.
