The X-Men are mutants who fight for peace between Homo Superior (mutants) and Homo Sapiens (humans). They were founded by Charles Xavier, and are based in the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, later re-named Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters, when younger students began to enroll. Their main adversaries include Magneto and his Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, the Marauders, and Apocalypse and his horsemen. The X-Men are currently divided into two groups: Blue Group and Gold Group.
