Band created by Anton Leonard Merriweather in 1987/88 under the original name of Mister Hister (after the Antichrist of Nostradamus) and, briefly, Mister Monster. In 1990, they became Charnel Dreams. On New Years Eve, 1993, they played a gig at Club Apocalypse leading to their becoming the house band. They released their first professional album, True Orders, in 1996 and had local success with their single Come Again in the New York area.
