Deslan was a trooper in Raynor's Raiders. He served in the Char campaign. Deslan was quick to suggest repairing the Raiders' damaged shuttles after combat, but was told by Lieutenant Abernathy that this was not realistic or timely. In order to extend their supplies, the Raiders took to searching Char for edible life. Deslan claimed he saw a ratlike creature run into a tunnel, but the Raiders had little success in that area. Deslan took part in an ambush, as a Raiders soldier, in an alliance with the protoss. He survived the battle, but didn't make it off Char alive.
