Stratosleds are aircraft used by the soldiers on Queen Azura on the planet Mars. They are capable of great speeds and are equipped with an electrogun for attack, as well as the ability to drop explosive instruments such as nitrobombs. Defensively they are vulnerable to electroguns and even hand-held pistols, unless covered with a special protective metal. Their operation is fairly simple: both Dr. Hans Zarkov and Dale Arden are able to fly one without any formal training.
