FirstString is a social networking website launched in March 2008 by Jonathan Eppers, a former Product Manager at MySpace. It brings together competitors and teammates into a new environment targeted at high school sports. Users can interact with teammates, opponents and fans; share photos, videos and personal highlights; gain new insights into specific high school sports, and get in front of the top college recruiters. FirstString is launching in nine US states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Texas.
