Takuma Akiyama, designated TK-941, was an officer in the Stormtrooper Corps of the Galactic Empire and later various other Imperial factions, such as Thrawn's confederation. An hardened stormtrooper, Akiyama was a loyal Imperial, refusing to admit the Empire lost the Galactic Civil War. Initially a member of the Commission for Preservation of the New Order, he became a stormtrooper upon turning seventeen. Akiyama was a skilled fighter, and climbed up the ranks fairly quickly. Other officers noted he was one of the few exceptions to the COMPNOR stereotype of everyone in it being a fanatical, but unskilled Palpatine supporter. Under the reborn Palpatine's Dark Empire, he was placed in command of a reformed CompForce.
