Shinagawa is one of the twenty-three special wards of Tokyo, Japan. The area is home to nine embassies, a number of schools and colleges, and a good number of Japanese companies have their headquarters and branch offices situated there. Shinagawa itself has an area of approximately 8.77 square miles.
