Tekaido used to be the central island of the Yamatian archipelago until the Cataclysm made it connect with nearby islands, making it even bigger. Since then these former heartlands of the Yamato Empire have come under control of demons, the now non-existant Central Horde. The capital of the province is presently Kageshima.
