Bernard Kay (23rd February 1928 - 25th December 2014) was a British actor who has played two different roles in Coronation Street, firstly bus driver Jim Foster in September and October 1961, then Clive Phillips in January 1994. His other credits included the successful 1965 film Doctor Zhivago, plus television serials such as Doctor Who, The Sweeney and Remington Steele and The Champions. Bernard appeared in the same episode of Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) as Geoffrey Hughes and also guest starred in an episode of Foyle's War.
