The Alliance Security Agency, abbreviated ASA, also called Alliance Security Force, Alliance Internal Affairs, and most commonly just Alliance Security, was the military police of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, though many thought it was the secret police of the Alliance High Command. The Galactic Empire's Imperial Intelligence said it was the Rebel Alliance equivalent to the Imperial Security Bureau. It was made up of elite agents who were Force-sensitive to some extent, while regular policemen were in the Alliance Military Police, whom they worked with. At least one was a former Cipher agent of the Jedi Order's Temple Security Force, and trained the agents of ASA in the unique combat style that they used. After the Galactic Civil War, it was replaced by the New Republic Security S
