Tatsuya Ryu is a character of Naruto: A Different Path. He is the leader and last remaining clansman of the Ryu Clan. Tatsuya was a tokubetsu jonin of the highest caliber who was widely feared throughout the shinobi world as Tatsuya the Dragon, do to his prodigal skills in his clan's techniques. Both him and his clan were feared prompting other villages to threaten war against Kumogakure, in an attempt to avert war Kumo annihilated the Ryu Clan prompting Tatsuya to flee the village. As a traditional practice of the Ryu Clan Ninshu was studied and enforced into their ninja training. Tatsuya would eventually come to meet Menma Namikaze (Sparks) and teach him Ninshu.
