The Battle of Benzar was a Dominion offensive against the Federation member world of Benzar during the Dominion War in 2374, which resulted in the occupation of the world by the Dominion. (LUG RPG: The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon) The Dominion deployed a strike fleet towards Alpha Centauri, however this was all a ploy as their true target was the lighter defended Benzar. With only the Starfleet Eleventh Fleet guarding the world Starfleet Command immediately dispatched the Fourteenth Fleet when the Dominion's plan became apparent.
