Vynar Jupe was a murderer who led a small band of thieves that preyed upon travelers between Varetta and Soren. He became popular due to his resourcefulness and daring in his escapades and due to the fact that he never preyed upon the inhabitants of the hamlet where he was born and lived. He was eventually caught, tried in Amory and executed in MS 5038. A statue of his likeness stands in the hamlet where he lived and it is said if you make a donation to the statue, that person will be protected by Vynar Jupe’s spirit from robbers and highwaymen.
