The 1977 Permatex 300 was a Late Model Sportsman national championship event held at Daytona International Speedway on February 19, 1977. Winston Cup Series star Donnie Allison claimed the victory, taking the trophy for the backup race to the Daytona 500. Eventual season champ Butch Lindley elected not to attend the race.
