al-Rashid University was an institution of higher learning in Siena on Earth. The university was named after Haroun al-Rashid, United Earth Interior Minister under Prime Minister Nathan Samuels and an early Federation President. Bojan Hadzic was a faculty member at al-Rashid University in 2374, prior to the start of the Dominion War. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
