The Battle of Bråvalla (Brávellir in old norse) was a legendary battle taking place in the Bay of Brå (Bråviken in Swedish) which separates Götaland and Svealand. The battle was fought between the Danish-East Geatish alliance of Harald Wartooth and a Swedish-West Geatish alliance led by Sigurd Hring. The battle was mentioned by Lagertha in the webexclusives for season 1, noting the 300 shield-maidens that fought for Harald Wartooth.
