Officer Lou Summers is a character in the novel Final Destination: Dead Man's Hand. He is an officer of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the captain of Warren Ackerman. As Warren was on a stakeout to find child murderer Roberto Diaz, Lou was informed of a call he received from Milos Hewetson that Shawna Engles had died in a bizarre accident. Lou repeatedly told Warren to come back to the department for personal reasons, but after he was pushed for a reason why, he finally told Warren what happened to her. He never was able to explain how or when she died, as Warren himself was killed shortly after gunning down Diaz.
