The 92UCGR2 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a reverse headstock and a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth position markers. Components include a DiMarzio Double Whammy humbucking pickup at the bridge and a PAF Pro humbucker at the neck flanking a DiMarzio-made USA/IBZ C3 single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. The 92UCGR2 was discontinued after 1992 along with the rest of the USA Custom line.
