The Halo Timeline is a feature of Halo Wars, which details many events pertaining to the story of Halo Wars. It is a timeline made up of entries spanning from 2498 to 2552. Each one of these entries features a paragraph of text that gives information about an event, either written from a character's perspective or as a non-fiction summary of the event. While some entries are unlocked from the start, most are acquired by retrieving Black Boxes within the Campaign and by meeting certain criteria in Multiplayer.
