Dressed in a fedora, Snoopy goes door to door, collecting census information. Over the course of several strips, he is shown leaving a paw print on one boy's forehead, receiving a questionnaire from Marcie, asking Woodstock for his annual income, and receiving a biblical warning about census-taking from Linus van Pelt. Snoopy quits after counting ten people, stating that he does not want to know if there are any more people in the world.
