The man known as Pear-Shape (sometimes "Pear Shape" or "Pearshape") was the owner and operator of a popular weight-loss correspondence course. This was ironic, as Pear-Shape himself was heavyset, as his name would indicate. In addition to his bottom-heavy physique, Pear-Shape had wavy, light red hair. He typically wore eyeglasses and often smoked cigars.
