Filyen was a Chammuran commoner who worked for Zenadia doa Attaneh as one of her house guards. Filyen's partner was Osazi. When one of the guards shouted for help in dealing with Briar Moss, as Briar had set a thorn bush on him, either Osazi or Filyen refused to go since they thought the other guard should be able to deal with just a boy.
