Novak Ketov was the illegal immigrant that Tracy Shankley hired on behalf of Home James Haulage, after Rodney Blackstock quit his job. Novak is given a run to France with televisions. After overhearing Novak and Tracy discussing the job in The Woolpack, Ross Barton enlists the help of his girlfriend Carly Hopestop Novak's truck. Ross brutally attacks Novak and steals the televisions. The following morning a police officer informs Home James Haulage owner Jimmy King about the truck being hijacked and warns him that he faces a heavy civil penalty for employing an illegal worker.
