James "Jim, Bud" Jarvis (December 7, 1907 – May 7, 1983) was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who played 3 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Quakers and Toronto Maple Leafs. He was born in Fort William, Ontario. He played senior hockey for Port Arthur from 1927 to 1929. He won the Allan Cup in 1929. Jarvis was then signed as a free agent by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played in their last season and then transferred with the team to the Philadelphia Quakers in 1930-31.
