Alliance Assault Volunteers are men and women of varying races loyal to the Alliance that have volunteered to enter the Ruins of Vashj'ir in the Shimmering Expanse to deal with the growing naga threat. They are found throughout the Ruins, including the Alliance-controlled building[[:File:|[, ]]] and on Nar'shola Terrace just below the Severed Span, fighting off Azsh'ir Soldiers. They are always wearing their telltale bubble helmets.
