The Pirate is a class introduced in Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. This class has an interesting feature that changes how he works as a gunner. Normally classes that use guns have to get somewhat close because guns lose effectiveness when further away. Pirates reverse this with their Evility, Accelerated Shot, which increases gun damage by 15% for each tile between them unit and their target. This Pirate is not functionally related to the Item World Pirates from other games.
