The River of Decay is the foul river in the Scythera Desert flowing through The Dead City. Its surface near the Dead City was said to have been black with foul weed and insects. However, it is somehow cleansed before reaching its eastern limits were it passes into Kish and thence out via a large delta into the Southern Sea of the Inland Sea region.
