Dactos are recurring enemies in the Legend of Zelda series. They are birdlike reptilian monsters, pinkish in color, with a horn growing from their forehead and a crest on the back of their head. They usually wait on trees or ledges and fly down to attack Link when he walks near. Dactos are closely related to Ravens. In Japan, both Dactos and Ravens are referred to with the same name, Kyune.
