A Jedi technician was a class of Jedi that specialized in working in facilities such as docking bays on Chu'unthor, the flagship of the Jedi Order. Crispin Hadaack served as a Jedi technician on board Chu'unthor during the Invasion of Utapau and felt that it was an undesirable assignment. Jedi assigned Jedi Padawans to be Jedi technicians as they felt Padawans needed to learn the skills of the common sentient.
