Daxter is an Ottsel, half otter, half weasel from the Jak and Daxter series. Daxter was once a human, but fell into a pool of Dark Eco and was turned into an Ottsel. One of the major problems Daxter finds about being turned into an Ottsel is the lack of pants. Daxter can be considered the sidekick to Jak in the games, but has starred in his own game on the PSP. Daxter tends to be a coward usually hiding behind Jak or staying behind in order to protect someone, though he does show some signs of bravery during the series. Daxter likes to joke around and is rarely serious, but is sometimes at odds against some of the characters in the series, most notably Samos.
